Napa Nexmas

An unknown fact: Santa's elves must live in cold environments—warm climates turn them feral, mutating them into mindless, flesh-hungry beasts. When global warming raised the North Pole’s temperature above 0°C year-round, Santa had no choice but to flee with his elves in search of a new home. Their journey led them to Antarctica, where Santa established his new base atop the Vinson Massif.

But the migration took too long. By the time they arrived, the elves had already transformed into ravenous monsters, rounding up every penguin and slaughtering polar bears. This catastrophic disruption violated the Antarctic Treaty, forcing the world's leaders to take action. Their solution? Send their most powerful operative to wipe out the Christmas menace once and for all. Who better than a highly trained polar bear, whose family was killed by the elves, armed to the teeth and ready for war?

Blast through hordes of deranged elves in fast-paced, twin-stick shooting chaos. Santa’s time is up. Christmas must die.

School project made in Laajasalon Opisto

The assignment was to replicate the game mechanics of an existing game. We chose to recreate Nex Machina by Housemarque. Project duration: 1.5 months.

Known bugs

• In rare cases arena transition is not working, even though all enemies are destroyed. Press Z on keyboard for arena skip.¨
•  Player might get out of the playarena
• Powerups sometimes spawns under the ground
• Audio might bug sometimes
